Hey, I need some help

I haven't even turned on my phantom 3 yet, just been unpacking. But I tried to turn on the controller. It didn't show any sign of life, no lights in the LEDs. So I plugged it into the wall now and it should be charging? No blinking light or anything though.

Should there be some energy in the controller when it arrives or is it completely empty? Maybe nothing is wrong and it just needs time to charge but I thought it would show some sign of life.

I bought my phantom from the DJI site and everything seems fine, just the controller wont start.

They usually come with a 40% - 60% charge......if there are no lights within a couple of minutes of plugging in the charger, there is something wrong with the RC.
Call DJI.

Make sure the charger plug is in all the way - there's an extra 8th inch or so that takes some pressure...

Omg! I just sent a long mail to dji support, then I checked back on this thread and saw your post. I tried to plug in the plug further in and bam, the lights started blinking.

Feel like a moron now but at least it is charging!

Thanks for your replies guys, really helpful and I hope to be in the air soon.
