RC Firmware update problems

The go app tells me to update the remote controller Firmware.
The download via the app works but not the update itself.
After pressing start the progress bar pops up but after a few seconds it stops with a failure.
I can press a retry button but the app just says DISCONNECTED.

Someone with the same problem ?

Yes,

I am having the same problem - been working on it for 7 hours - no luck

I have been flying the I1 since February - upgraded a few times - no issues.

I have a paying gig tomorrow this is in jeopardy.

After upgrading my GO app to 2.4 I went to fly my Inspire.  The app told me to upgrade the RC so I tried.  Just as others my app said 100% download but when I started the upgrade it lasted for a minute then beeped DDDD for 45 mins.  I finally shut it off and yes it is stuck on a blue light.  This also happened to my P3P but no blue light.  3 calls to DJI today.  2 guys had no clue what I was talking about. "We haven't heard anything about a problem with the app."  The third person I spoke to said, "yes we have heard of some issues and we are working on it".  After trying my other P3P I made some notes.  In the About section of the app it said that the app was 2.4, aircraft 1.4.1 and the RC 1.3.2 but the app will not update the RC.  It only disconnects the camera and renders the Phantom useless.  Soooo my 2 P3Ps, 1 P3A and my Inspire are now boat anchors until DJI decides to fix the app.  This is not fun.  Please, everyone that is having these problems, call DJI tech support and report this so we can get some resolution.

I tried to explain the problem to the chat support, but they had no idea and told me to send it to DJI.
But does this make sense ? Every update before was successful. It's only that the update with via the app is not working.

Actually i am in the DJI Chatroom. I just asked if there is any positive news on this issue.

Now for about 30 Minutes just this message: " Customer service is for your query,please wait for a moment,thanks!"

A little update... I thought it would be a good idea to keep the RC switched on for hours to reduce the battery power in order to force the RC to zero.
But i couldn wait long enough.
At 50% Batt. level i tried againt to update and it started !!!
Around 4% there came an error : Remote Controller FPGA error / Solution: Hardware malfunction, please contact customer service for repairing.
But the update continues...now i am at 54 %....
