Hi,

today i saw in the dji site at page http://www.dji.com/product/phantom-3#page3 Phantom 3 flying up to 3.1 miles (5 km) ???

5 km ? in the past it was 2 km .

this image appear today, in the past is not present a 5km ragnge but only 2 km.

Did Dji improved the power of the lightbrige signal in the next update ? and if yes, is for CE & FCC ?

of course they give the disclaimer at the bottom....

With the latest update , there is an option to change the lightbridge bitrate . When lowering the bitrate  , the distace in kilometers goes from 2 to 3 .

Haven't tried it , but i fount it in
setting
hd
custom
then transmission quality appears at the bottom. You can slide the quality from 4mbps(3km) to 6mbps(2km)

Anyone tried it ?

When ever I tried to reset the meter, it always seemed to bounce back the the original settings.
So not sure if that is something that was updated very recently. I tried that setting a few weeks ago.
I am certainly anxious to fly out farther than previous flights. ;-)
