Hi Patrick. Thanks for the comments.  It was a windy day and when I was nearly finished recording I noticed the battery was getting low. I started to bring it home, and just as I was about to "hand catch" the drone it shot up into the air to the height I set  for auto return due to the battery level....... and I went into "Thumping Heart" mode until I realised why.  Anyway all ended well.
