        I bought to extra batteries for my Phantom and  my phantom is saying invalid battery. They are original batteries and there serial numbers are 3221144316743 and 322114314930. How can I get them to work?

They are original and fully charged I assume. So when you connect to the software you get the invalid battery message?  So can you power up the Phantom and get full charge lights on the battery- and can you calibrate and fly anyway with these batteries or do they really not work at all? more info please

the batteries work to an extent. I get invalid battery after i calibrate the compass.  And when I try to start up the  phantom the invalid indicator is flashing on my Iphone. the lights on the battery that indicate the power level works fine. Everything works fine up to the point of taking off.  the battery that came with the phantom work perfect. but I am having issues with the extra batteries.

Where did you buy the extra batteries?

Go to the Assistant software, any warning there?

one extra battery came with my phantom and bought the next one from a hobby store in fort lauderdale

do these batteries need some kind of programming and is so how to I do so.

Install the batteries into the Phantom and connect to DJI Phantom 2 Vision Assistant_3.6.   Go to the battery page of the app and let us know what message you get for each battery.  If it says you need to upgrade, do that.

I am not getting my phantom to link to my computer. I am using the cable that came with my phantom and it is not linking why is that?

Do you have the "DJI Phantom 2 Vision Assistant_3.6" open and computer connected to the computer and phantom turned on?

Then you should see the battery information in the "DJI Phantom 2 Vision Assistant_3.6"

it is presently powered up and connected via USB cable to my computer  but the red light on the DJI Phantom 2 Vision Assistant_3.6 is not turning green

You have the 3.6 open on your computer and it shows you are not connected when the Phantom is plugged in to the computer?

Yes have the 3.6 open on my computer and it shows that I am not connected when the Phantom is plugged into the computer.

I'm confused here, what red light on the app 3.6 are you talking about?

yes that red light is what I am talking about. it suppose to turn green when the phantom is connected to the app. that is not happening

All I can think of now is your usb cable has gone bad.  that does happen and has happened before.

A silly question: Did you install the DJI driver ? Reinstall them.

BTW: They turn to green (slow blinking) when Phantom has >= 6 Satelites (when in GPS Mode) and home  position was recorded

No one has mentioned the driver except kami

i finally got my phantom to link with my PC after installing and uninstalling the drivers and DJI Phantom 2 Vision Assistant_3.6 about 3 times. i will let you know how everything else works out

Three Questions:
   1) Where did you get the serial number?  All of my DJI batteries have a sticker on the bottom beginning with "DJ" followed by 15 -- yours have 13 digits (By the way, that is NOT the battery serial number that will appear in the Vision Assistant software)
   2) Are these actual DJI batteries or third party clones? And if they are clones did you try and do the battery firmware update?  (D'OH! That tends to turn them into bricks)
   3) Did you ever have any previous versions of the Phantom Assistant installed?  If so, uninstall and then reinstall version 3.6  (Back in November (2014) DJI released two different versions of the Vision Assistant in the space of three days because there were some problems with some updates not appearing)

I think we are having same problem and my battery has 322.. serial number too.  I'm still trying find a solution
