I have a had afew times the the Gimbal will lock into the staight down position. It will acutally require a physical , by hand releasing movement  then return to normal operations.
Any ideas?

Pressing the C1 button on the underside of the RC unit will cause the camera to alternately switch between the vertical and horizontal position. Are you perhaps doing this accidentally?

thanks, no i dont think i am. I get a motor overload message on the display.

Please check the  flat cable on the gimbal . By the way , I've reported your repair issue to the repair center . Sorry for that .
