hi -- i searched the forum but don't see this discussed... "draw a flight guide" icon in the DJI GO app (left side of screen in map view).  i could not find mention of it in the user manual either.

am i correct in concluding that it is nothing more than a line/curve on the map to manually try to follow using the control sticks.   my initial reaction to it was "wow! i can draw a path and the P3 will follow it!"

if DJI wants a wish list, i would certianly wish for that feature (plus being able to add altitude data points along the way).  i have not tried the waypoint intelligent flight mode yet but my initial reaction to understanding it was -- "oh, i have to fly to each way point first to mark them :-( "  

You are correct in your conclusion, but they are handy if you fly viewing the map full screen.
