Hi Guys,


My DJI Phantom 3 professional loses video signal in turbulance.
It will be fine when there is no wind round causing turbulence, but once there is it continuously looses the video feed to my iPad.

Looking in the app i can see it says the image transmission setting is unstable.

I've had it on the bench and have wiggled the camera gimble which makes no difference to the signal but as soon as i give the whole drone a light shake it looses video signal.

Have checked and replaced the gimble cables but not the flat ribbon.

It can loose signal when i'm doing filming and i can't see where I'm going FPV but it will still be recording video which looks fine.


Has anyone else experienced this.......?

My advaned phantom lost signal once in heavy winds, but it did still recorded.

If you make a recording onto the SD card and shake the Phantom around does that video cut out or does it play perfectly?

yes video signal cuts out but the recording on SD card is perfect

The video also feed cuts out in no wind if I blast along full speed then stop fast
