the base exposure in an AEB sequence always displays the EXIF data with 0 EV.  the subsequent shots (2 or 4) have the EV relative to 0.

with single shot exposures, the EV is recorded to the EXIF data.

in AEB the base exposure EV should be recorded for what it really is and the subsequent EVs should be relative to that base value.
