Seemingly all of a sudden my motors won't start. I did the basic IMU calibration and got a message saying no calibration needed. One thing I did notice though on the RC is that the power light (not the three lights) to the right is yellow not green. I believe it is generally green. Assuming it should be green, what would that indicate? I have the P2V+ v3. All of my firmware is up to date. Also I did see a message/button that said Reset BTU. I did not really understand it, so I did not click on it.

Any thoughts?

From the P2V+ manual: Remote controller Power LED Status --> Solid Yellow ---> Remote controller joysticks calibration error, need to be re-calibrated

Connect to your TX with the RC Assistant software and do the calibration routine to fix the issue

Please calibrate your RC in the RC Assistant  . And re-calibrate the RC again in the PT2 Assistant .

There could be a number of things:
You might need to rebind the controller.
A faulty S1/S2 toggle switch that leaves it in permanent Failsafe.
Could be a dead receiver board inside the phantom.

How do I rebind controller? Also, is there some indication that it is locked in Failsafe? I redid the IMU basic cal, which seemed to work ok.

Is the yellow light on the controller I referred to indicative of a problem?

Did you do the Stick calibration yet as mentioned before ( that's what the yellow light on the TX indicates)?

This is a calibration done with the Transmitter connected to your computer and using the RC assistant software to do the calibration.

This is different from the IMU calibration you did connected to your Phantom with the Phantom assistant software.

Thanks to everyone had to recal the RC unit. Light turned green an motors now start. I know, RTFM. I did but that was several months ago. :-)
