One of the most interesting things from the UK drone show was the new VR ONE headset for the Phantom. Interesting because to gives FPV through the headset without the need for the hdmi connector. The only limitation I could see was that it only worked with the iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy S5 and S6.

How would you get your finger in there adjust settings, etc? But I like the concept!

There are a number of VR devices like VR ONE, compatible with ANY Android/iOS smartphones with 4.5-6". Just ask Google for "VR glasses".
More important, what you can do with it ? One thing is just fpv piloting by RC sticks avoiding sunlight. And another is to use all "headtracking" capabilities of smartphone to control the drone.
