Hi Everyone. I am new to s1000 premium. I want to fly waypoints. I have an IOSD mark 2 installed as well as a2. Can the ipad i have communicate directly with a2 controller or do I have to connect a data link? If so, can I stick the data link I have in the IOSD can bus port?? I think my canon 5d zenmuse is also connected to the a2.

Any help appreciated and don't worry, as I'm new I wont be flying any time soon

You can use dji assistant for IPad but you will not be able to make changes to the settings.  I have tried it and it does not work.  Maybe this will be fixed on later updates but so far I am not able to change anything.   The best thing to do is to use a PC or Mac with DJI assistant and use the USB connection to the controller to make any necessary changes to settings or controller mapping needed.   Also keep in mind that for you to use your ipad to communicate with your a2 you will need your data link.   Your Zenmuse & data link can be connected to any open CAN BUS  port.
