is it possible to select the waypoints on the ground as happened in the phantom 2 vision?
is difficult to do it in flight.

Nope. You can only do it in the air.

T this stage it's only possible through third party apps such as Litchi

Sorry , you'll have to fly to that place the set a waypoint .

it is not possible with DJI GO, but  there are some third party apps that can do it

Any plan from DJI to allow to set the waypoints when the phanton is on ground? really it makes sense to do it in that way instead of doing it with the phantom in the air. that is how it worked in the Phanton 2 vision plus and was great!!

it could be a great Xmas  present from DJI

I use FPV Camera with Mission Planner on IOS. It is fantastic and works perfectly . I pre-program my missions from home on my iPad even before I'm at the field , save them and then fly straight away once at location. I have also used Litchi, and in my opinion I found Mission Planner much easier and faster to plan missions edit them then fly.
