The flight simulator program isn't mentioned in the beginners videos, but, I've seen some information here () regarding the flight simulator, but, the controller is different than the one I have.

Mine doesn't have the pin jack connector in the bottom center. There is  what appears to be a connector near the bottom of my controller, but, can't tell if its the same.
I can't find anything definitive on my questions. Is the P3 Std capable of using the flight simulator program and if so what other hardware is required?

there is a simulator in DJI GO app.  Click on a bachelors hat in the upper right corner
