Hi guys,

so....

i did make a mistake and turned off my P3 while it was updating, now i have this annoying beep.

i think i have read everthing there is to read on how to fix it and cant find a way.

On the professional the firmware is available on the site so it makes things easy (format SD, copy firmware on computer and put it back on P3 and let it update alone

but....

the firmware for the standard is nowhere to be found.

someone said by deleting the app and downloading it again it would ask for the fiurmware update but it doesnt.

Can anybody help? i have lost countless hours on this and i feel i am right where i started.

Did you ever have any luck?  Or have you contacted support?

I have a different issue entirely and am looking to see if anyone else has the same trouble.  I won't hijack your thread but I can say that it did take about 30 minutes and the app did tell me when I put in the extra battery that it had to be updated.

Having same issue as you, VT.

Please let me know if and when you find a solution.

I am not even sure what to do at this point. Why the heck does DJI not include a link to download the phantom standard update file on it's website. Now I am stuck with a corrupted update, I have formatted my SD card trying to fix same, and I can't find anywhere to download a new firmware...and the customer service is just plain embarrassing....three days and my email hasn't been replied. I am just angry I wasted money buying this stupid drone that DJI seems unwilling to provide tech support once they deceive you into buying.

Here's a suggestion for you. Since you turned off the Phantom 1/2 way through the update and cannot fly now and deleting the reinstalling the app doesn't work.
Try a different device and install the DJI GO app, sign into your account and power up the aircraft and see if it will start the update over again.

Tried that...didn't work. No prompt to install a new firmware.

Hey @VT. Have you had any luck yet getting the Phantom 3 standard firmware update file?

What is the latest firmware nimber, please?

Do what I did and go to the original or a firmware the was on the bird.  Clear the sd micro chip clean and load the old firmware on it.  Start the drone with the new firmware plugged in
