Should the radio be updated with 1.6? i can only get my quad to update

No, the 1.3 firmware had a radio update, but not 1.4, 1.5, or 1.6

My radio did update to 1.5

ihave updated from 1.4 to 1,6 and my remote updated with 1,6 do I need to go back and update to 1.5 then to 1,6 again or will it be ok missing 1,5

You are fine skipping an update.

When you are in the app and go to about does it show aircraft at 1.6 and RC at 1.6?

where abouts int he app can I check firmware status for aircraft and remote
