Good Morning,

I enjoy using my iPad Air 2 for flying my P3P but it will not fit in the holder when it is in the Otterbox I keep it in.  Has anybody discovered a larger holder which would accommodate the larger cases or one for the iPad Pro?

I have an iPad Air for my P3 Pro and I have the DJI back pack and I just pop out the top foam and but my iPad in there. For other cases I don't know.

If you meant, on the RC, yes. There is an adapter available on eBay, that will accommodate the larger devices, on your radio controller.

But I find the iPad Air 2 fits the dock perfectly, and isn't too heavy at all, either. ;-)

I bought the Inspire holder from DJI. The Air 2 just fits it and it is sturdier than the original version.

Yes, but he wants or prefers to keep the larger safety cover on it, while flying...

Remove the cover bud, & make it easy on yourself, or buy a dedicated one.

I've heard gripgo works on the the larger tablets. I found it in the as seen on tv aisle at Walmart. And there is a video on YouTube of a guy using it with his phantom 3 standard

I need to check that aisle. We have Showcase stores here.

Ok, first, Phantom Standard holder is not like our Phantom 3 Pro or Phantom 3 Advanced.
The OP request was asking for a way to hold a larger unit, in the Pro holder.
I have the Inspire 1 Holder on my RC and if will definately not hold an iPad 3.
So the device I posted, or one of reasonable facsimile as in similar, is the only way to hold an iPad while leaving it in a over protective suit.

And further more , try Velcro... Or hook and loop fabric, Hahaha
