As seen in the following video at 0:19-0:23 seconds when I "strafe" (slide sideways) my camera view tilts as well.

Is this expected, or is the gimbal supposed to compensate for this?
If this is not expected, what can I do to diagnose and fix the problem?

lt looks like you have it set in FPV mode rather than Follow mode.

Pressing the C2 button (below the remote) turns into FPV mode and do that kind of movement.

Yeah, as above you have hit the C button and set it to FPV mode.. At some point I think everyone has done this until they change the buttons

You can also set the gimbal mode in the software .
