TL;DR - P3S Signal Lost after firmware update. Telemetry and Video all good but no RC signal.
Well, my P3S had been parked for a few months (since october) and I pulled it out last week with and found there was a firmware update. Seemed to have some extra features for cold weather - a good idea when it's flirting with 0C - so I let it go. After 30-ish minutes thinking everything was good, packed it up ready for flying in the next day or so.
Two days later I'm out in the field and ready to go and ... fast yellow flashing after startup. That's weird. The app shows beautiful video and all the telemetry but at the top it says "Signal Lost". No amount of antenna tweaking, stepping away, reorienting changed anything. Rebooting, restarting, reconnecting controllers, aircraft, batteries and phone - no change. But still had great video and full telemetry - even had 14 GPS satellites on a STANDARD - that never happens. I'm giddy with 11 and flyable at 9.
But still no signal.
Aircraft Status says "Firmware Version is the latest" and the aircraft status indicator light is "RC Signal Lost" yet the Radio Channel Quality shows as good.
I thought it might have been temperature related but considering it says it's 22C right now that can't be the issue.
Anyone else seen this?
