I just got my phantom 3 advanced wednesday and maidened it this morning.  on the second flight it tried to autoland and it crashed into the house.  everything was fine except for a broken prop.  All the motors still worked at this point.  After i replaced the battery and went to fly again i got the dreaded esc status error.  Upon closer inspection i found that one of the motors has a copper wire on the inside broken.  Coould this be the cause of my troubles?  if not what is (other than a bad esc)

Thanks in advance

The broken wire will be a result of the crash, wires don't spontaneously break in flight. It they did your aircraft would be trashed, not try to autoland.

i never said that it just broke in flight, i understand that something probably got in there and broke it in the crash.  when you say fix the wire you mean replace the motor right?

No, not if you have someone that knows his way around electronics.
Post a pic of the problem and maybe we can come up with a better advice.

I didn't know you could fix the coils inside of the motor itself
