I bought the DJI Phantom 3 Standard in early December. Throughout December I was able to record 1080p video at 60 frames-per-second (1080p60). After an app update in early January, I am no longer able to record 60 frames per second at 1080p resolution. The highest FPS at 1080p is now 30fps (I am able to shoot 720p60). Has anyone else experienced this? If so, do you know the cause?

I am aware that the spec page for the Phantom 3 Standard states that it does not support 1080p60. Did it say that back in December?

I recorded some video in 1080p 60 fps,  and I was not impressed with the quality, although the bit rate was 40Mbps.
1080p 30 fps was noticeably sharper. I  think that they pilled the upgrade, because it was not ready at this time

I also noticed that every now and then while recoding in 1080p60, that the camera would (randomly) stop recording. The recordings I did get (anywhere from 2 seconds to multiple minutes) seemed to have great quality though.

I had the same issue and was stupid enough to upgrade the dji go app, loosing the 60fps at 1080p which I was very happy with. Luckily I this workaround from another user on the forum: http://forum.dji.com/thread-39933-1-1.html
Thx to user ssaqo on the forum

Cheers,
