Getting my new Phantom 3 Standard ready to fly, but will need warmer days to do so.  Going through the motions I found the remote wasn't linked to the Phantom, so got that handled and got the latest firmware updates installed successfully, then I got to the point of starting the motors without the propellers on here at home and it went through the warm up procedure, then got rapid green, then slow green with a couple slow red flashes in between.  ipad mini shows me I'm near a no fly zone as I'm just over 4 miles from the Des Moines airport.  When I try to start the motors I get a warning on the screen that it can't take off in a no fly zone.  I'm assuming that's why the motors won't start.  Is this correct or have I missed something or have another error.   I had another Phantom a couple years ago, but it did a fly away and said I'd never get another, but here we are.

Patrick, thanks for the reply.  I'm well outside the pink circle around the Des Moines Airport shown on the map, but still within 4 miles.  I'm going to try moving further away today and see if the motors will start.
