Just got a P2V+ 3.0. When using the gimbal wheel on the controller, the camera seems to twitch before moving from a downward position to the upward or level position. When using the camera tilt control in the DJI Vision app, the camera is ultra smooth in its up and down movements. Has anyone heard of or encountered this issue?

I had a similar experience when I took my controller out of the box and set it up with my phantom, (i have standard v2+ and wanted the extra features of the TX).

My gimbal was twitching all over the place when I calibrated it and did not get better.

However it does seem the TX is susceptible to the cold (it had only just been delivered by courier and probably sitting on a loading bay overnight at around 0 degrees ).

After an hour I tried again and it was silky smooth.

By then it had got upto room temperature.

What I posted there is all you should do for the X1 calibration.  In the RC assistant, all you do there is calibrate the sticks.

Sorry not correct, you can and must calibrate X1 in the RC assistant with the V3 controller

I did what the screenshot did and had no problem with the camera moving to all positions, slow and fast.  You are right as far as moving the wheel when calibrating the sticks, but there is no separate calibration for the x1 like there is in pt2.  I didn't double check after the first time I went back to calibrate as the rc calibration with rc messed up the camera again to jumpy, so I did the calibration the way the post said, and did not do x1 in RC.

I had the same issue. I emailed DJI and they wanted me to send my controller back to them.  Thank goodness I calibrated the gimbal wheel in the RC Assistant. Calibrating in the DJI Phantom 2 Vision Assistant didn't fix the problem.
