I was editing some files and found out there's a short second-long delay between the footage when I glued the files from a single recording together.

The phantom creates a new file after 09:20 .... and there's a gap in the footage right there...

It's not a seamless transition...

Can that be fixed? Is there a solution for this somewhere?

Very strange, what kind of micro SD card are you using?

So you noticed? Yes, this is a known issue, and it has been reported to DJI, but as far as I know, no fix has been issued for it yet. The reason is the 4GB length restriction for files, so it starts a new one once it passes that size.

For the time being, you have to plan around it.

Ah, so it's known... thanks...

Did a clip long recording of kids learning how to sail and the footage just jumps where the two files are joined... :-/

Until there is a solution, it is a good idea to stop recording and start again when you are not in the middle of a shot you want. That way it starts a new file and avoids the dodgy join.
