P3 Pro Camera Blurry Images?

Shot a few photos and noticed a bit of softness. Not sure if this is normal for a 20mm lens.

What's normal for any lens is to have both sides the same.  Yours clearly aren't the same so I'd say you have a decentred lens.

Hmmmmm so how can I fix this? Lol... I guess send it into DJI?

Hopefully DJI is nice enough to send me a gimbal unit with the camera. So I don't have to send in my Phantom to them and wait long. *Crosses fingers*

Not likely I'm afraid.  I'd send them the images & see what they say first.  You don't want to waste time sending it in if they just say they're ok.  Have the argument first.

Here is another photo I just did. It's just a test shot. The shutter speed was at 1/200. Please look to the right of the image and tell me if it's soft or not. Oh and this is a raw image, no editing was done.

If you are referring to the wooden boards on the right of screen, then yes, they are out of focus, and they should be as they are closer to the camera. But if you look at the tree branches at the top of the screen, they seem to be just as much in focus as the ones on the left of screen.

Photos like this taken on the ground should not be used as a basis of comparison, take an aerial shot from high up.

As said, these close ups are no test for an aerial camera.  The camera is (or should be) focused & optimised for longer distances.

Here is another shot I took earlier today. Take notice on the power lines from left to right. Even the textures on the roof's. You will see the left side is much sharper than the right side. Kinda disappointing to be honest...

Yes, it looks like your lens is out on one side, this has been known to happen. You are best to send it to DJI to have the lens re-aligned.

I have exactly same, but right is sharp and left blurry.     Dji agreed to fix it and now I wait my RMA. Interesting to see if I have to return whole craft or only cam unit and how long it takes?

I spoke to a few agents. Some were completely useless and didn't really help. One of the agents said yes there is something  wrong and suggested me to send the Phantom in. She then created my RMA ticket and that was it. Shipped the Phantom with my controller just in case. I was hearing them returning the package if the controller wasn't included. I also took a screen shot of my order history off the DJI website. That's the only proof of purchase I have. So hopefully that works. It shows the order number with my DJI account. They should receieve my package by next Monday. Hopefully the repair is quick. I also wrote in the customer information sheet to fix my vibration issue I'm having when hovering.

Hi, have you had your P3P back yet? If so did they resolve the issue and was it done under warranty?
