What happens when you turn the P3 on and try to update it? What is the camera light color?

  The file that you posted is the summary log file. To discover the failure component/reason, you need to find the hidden detailed log that's in the /MISC/LOG/ folder on the same SD card you get the summary file. In Sploodge's post on updating, read STEP 3 and configure your computer to show hidden files. Then take a look at and post the very detailed log that is in the hidden folder /MISC/LOG/.
