Hi there!
I was waiting so long to test how P3P can handle with long exposure night pictures. And tonight i had a chance - there was minor geomagnetic storm which triggers some auroras. I bring out my drone, turn off LEDs and lift it up to 300m, point to north directions, set ISO3200, shutter to 8s and here is a result. It was windy, but i think Phantom made a good job!!

Considering the low light level, that is a pretty amazing shot.

Nice! I've seen people with DSLR's getting worse shots then that.

Very impressive shot with 8 sec exposure, thanks for posting it. Any estimate of the wind speed?

Thanks! I have no log files from that flight, but i guess it was about 3-5m/s at ground level. From 60 images this one was sharpest, all other was blurred from shaky camera. Moon is getting brighter, so i will wait for more calm weather and make a second night session..

Nice picture... hopefully you can get calm conditions and take 8 or so exposures then  stack them and a median filter to reduce noise.

Very nice picture.  I'll have to give it a try the next time the auroras are active.

After restarting my cellphone i got back log files.
Look cool! Max wind gust was 17.8m/s (64km/h)!! Average wind speed 12.8m/s (46km/h). Impressive!

Good work! That's almost too good to believe (long exposures in a strong breeze)! Incidentally the factor 1.4 for the gusts is typical. You already answered my next question: the photo was selected from a series of 60 shots. So stacking is a good idea to remove noise, but you'll need to remove the bad shots. Hopefully the weather & wind will not be so bad in March when the moonlight is again not a problem.
