Can someone please tell me if I have to update the remote to  P3S_FW_V01.06.0040 ?
I have updated the P3 advanced to P3S_FW_V01.06.0040 and the text file said "Successful" but since then I get the message "weak signal", "a lot of interference please don't fly too far" but I'm only 2 metres from it about to do the IMU calibration (which I still haven't done)
All was going fine until the update.
Thanks in advance and thanks again to DJI-Amy, I got the signal ok.

I get the weak signal warning while in the house doing updates of whatever. Then of course when i go outside to fly,no warning.

Thanks for that Elmer Fudd, it's just that it only happened after the update.

I haven't tried outside yet I have just been setting it up,(and reading the manual again) I will let you know as soon as I try it.

I have the same issue post update. Weak remote signal, no battery info and a slave requests gimbal control yes/no request.
App: 1.1.0 (Android)
Remote: 1.5.70
Firmware: 1.6.40
I am not game to take the bird outside to try for a flight.
No battery firmware update done yet or firmware info.

Hi waynegreetham.
DJI-Amy replied and said it is probably interference from other things( I have a lot of things that could interfere) so I am going to take it outside (not flying) just to see if it helps the signal to the remote.
Elmer Fudd says to try it outside as well.
Thanks to them and I hope it works for you.
I will report back with the result.
