The manual is online for viewing. It contains info on the new features. THe one that I thought was interesting was that the controller records and stores the flight data!

Yes, but it does not record it on the controller. So if you lose the craft you are out of luck. On the P4 it records the data on the controller not the craft.

Where is the online manual located? Link? I'm waiting on my P4 to arrive. First quad copter so I better read all I can. Thanks!

Hi all, there must be a misunderstanding here. The RC can't record any data, all of the flight log data are stored in the internal SD card of the aircraft. In the DJI GO app, you can view the flight records and synchronized it to the server. Please note, flight log data is for data analysis, it contains only in the aircraft, the flight records, however, is stored in the DJI GO app, your mobile device and the server after the synchronization.
