In compare of my old phantom 3 Adv.

Less noise from startup no beep beep anymore its now way better.
Less noise when flying around, didnt expect it.

Way more stable, it stays at the same place when you stop moving.

so i am now an happy Phantom4 owner

been flying phantom 3 for a while, just got my phantom 4 today, everything seems to be working camera, dji go app, but the drone wont launch says to "activate the aircraft".  I am at a loss on what I am suppose to do

Yes, guess why! You need to fire it up, first time at home, within your wifi network. Sort of like a "in the Cloud", registration sacrificial-offering to the @DJI Gods of Drone, that be. ;-)

Yeah, they want to track your every phantom drone move and know your where a bouts. Be ongaurd. Hahaha
It's the way it is...

While well within your comfort zone, Turn on the RC, then drone, & open Go app.
Perhaps play/work with the onboard flight SIM, first off, and begin your long love life together, there.

Have you already given your new BFF a name or title? ;-)
