I have an original inspire 1 that I upgraded to the x5.  I installed the latest inspire pro 1.4.0.70 firmware and when I go to the dji go app it says aircraft requires an update.  Here's the firmware in the
dji go app details.


app 2.7.1
aircraft 1.6.00.40
rc 1.5.80
cam 1.4.0.70

Yeah, Same problem for me also.
The 'About' section reports all updated as per the instructions, but the start up page in the App reports that the aircraft requires an upgrade.
My setup in an Inspire 1 with an X3 camera
The bin file report states that all upgraded successfully so I expect this is a bug in the firmware.

Yeah and theres no ETA on the fix... DJI Support are just hearing about the issue today, smh....

added some images to my last post, as you can see I am using an Ipad Mini..Here are the screenshots (might be a bit clearer)

On the ipad air 2 got the same message....maybe a new firmware are on the way?

So are you saying that the latest firm wear update is corrupted?  

There was some issues with server, it's solved now. The reminder has to disappear

This was the worst , most convoluted update  ever.  My others went smooth as silk and I wondered why everyone made such a fuss.  NOW I know why.
