Does DJI return your used parts when they do a repair?

I have a flaky gimbal, Vibrates, so I am sending it back to DJI for repair. If they repair it as part of the DJIcare plan, will they send me old Gimbal back as well if they replace it?

A new one is $279, but if they replace it and deduct $279 and not send the part back, I would be better off just buying a new part and having spares at least.

Agreed, but I'd wager they keep the parts and refurb them for future repairs...

No way do they give you back the old parts. They are giving you a new part so they take back the other one.

So better off buying a new Gimbal, keep or sell the old one. It still works, but has a vibration.
