I'll see what happens but just purchased a brand new P3A for $396 including shipping. I'll keep you posted as to whether or not this is some type of scam. I currently own a P3P but I know this is a fair price for the P3A.

Doesn't surprise me, there is a New P3P listed for $665 on Ebay. It's just a matter of time before you start seeing them around $500. That is going to knock the Standard and Advanced prices in the dirt.

I can't believe that a potential scam could happen on Amazon but it happens. Here is some correspondence between me and this guy that was selling a "used" P3A but when I read the description, it said it was new in box.

I just looked on Amazon for it and it's not there anymore. Originally, I wanted to see how much the P3A is selling for and when I opened one sellers site, it showed other sellers offering the P3A and I looked under used and that's where I found this guy. He wanted me to pay through Amazon's Market Playsafe card voucher. Don't worry, I just shrugged it off as "too good to be true" but almost fell for it

Here is a bit of the latest correspondence.

Report this Prick to Amazon.  I have had some good luck with Amazon making things right.

Amazon does have sellers that sell used stuff but it should be clearly marked as used, even if it's never been actually used but just opened or bought as new somewhere else.  I'd report the guy.

You need to report this right away to Amazon.

UPDATE. This was a scam through Amazon and I've contacted them directly to put this guy out of business. Amazon has told me that they will make it right to me by selling the Advance for $396 new. More details to follow
