Yeah totally makes sense that they would go from 28 mins to 60 mins...k.

Eventually they will figure out 1 hour flight time. The first drones had 8 minute flight time. Small minds are unable to think beyond the realities of today. 3 years ago I said obstacle avoidance would be a thing for drones and people also thought it was rediculous yet here we are.

Why don't everyone learn how to fly so you don't need all this avoidance stuff.
I thought the fun part of all this was to fly the Drone , at least it is to me. Seems like more and more
people want to just push the stick up , get it in the air and want it to fly by its self , What fun is that.
I Have a P3 Pro , I fly through trees , around my house , i can fly a foot off the ground or 400 feet
2 miles a way , I fly over 150 foot trees a hafe miles a way and drop down between the trees almost to the ground and my nabors wave at me
while i take there picture ,and climb back up over the trees and come home. For 8 months i have the phantom i been doing
This , and i have never hit anything or ever crashed , Simply cause i learned how to fly , and judge my distances looking on
the ipad air and knowing how far i am from stuff. That is what i thought the fun part of the phantom was , is to fly it.
I think some of you guys want full automation. What fun is that.

For me it's not about "I can't fly" it's more about autonomous flight. I do a lot of trips in the sierra nevada mountain range and there are  a ton of trees and various terrain. I'd like to fly up to the lake I hike into, take some shots, measure the temp and fly back to camp. That can be done today with auto pilot but there are many many risks involved without obstacle avoidance in all directions. Just my .02

I think if the Phantom 5 has lights like the Inspire that would be great. It will make it a lot easier to see the drone at dusk.

I'm quiet happy with the P4.

The only thing that would persuade me to upgrade to a P5 would be to put a much better camera on it, like the X5.

P4 has a pretty good camera, but I think it needs higher bitrate. Now 60mb/s is too low, i see it when too many details are on the background.Better camera will cost much more, so at least P5 should have 100mb/s.
