I crashed my p3p friday and the ESC controller is shot i have the old model motors in my bird  (2312) i have 4 new 2312A motors that were bought for a p3s, if i buy a new esc controller for my p3p will the motors for the p3s work?

I have 2312 Motor
New motors are 2312A

There are dedicated Main Controller boards for each motor series. Your older P3 has the
DJI Phantom 3 – Part33 ESC Center Board & MC (Pro/Adv) CP.PT.000219

To use the new motors, you need the newer Main Controller
DJI Phantom 3 Pro/Adv Part 96 ESC Center Board & MC V2

Recently DJI has removed these from their online store in the US, probably moving them to repair inventory. You will need to shop partner inventory such as B&H or Amazon....
