Hey guys,

I was updating my drone's firmware to the latest one "Phantom 3 Professional Firmware v1.7.0060". it updated successfully but it started beeping loudly and constantly.
the led in the front went from green to red as it beeped.

it hasn't crashed or anything.

any ideas of how to fix this? I do get signal to my controller I dont want to fly it beeping though

Flashing green/red on the gimbal led means that it is updating, controller should be off during update. Walk away and come back in half an hour or so and it should be done.

I tried that.

no led's are flashing, I will leave it updating for a while in a place where I cant hear it...
it does sound like its upgrading.

What's the status of the little LED in the gimbal just above the camera ? If it's steady green then that means all is completed , there should also be an update success beep (buzzing)).

Yes, the beeping changes its pattern, after the update completes.
Check the bin file on a computer and see if the success file has been generated.
If so, then you can reformat the card in the drone, and off you go. ;-)
