My previous insurance company; USAA, covered my Phantom 2 Vision and my DJI 550. After I purchased my Phantom 4 I contacted them to add it on to my policy. Unknown to me they stopped covering drones (thanks for letting me know!).
Since I cannot add my Phantom 4 on to my insurance (and my others are no longer covered) I'm now in the predicament of no damage insurance.
I contacted Squaretrade. Nope.
DJI advertised that you could purchased after the fact on your Phantom 4. I attempted to purchase but now it says I have owned the PHantom 4 for too long (received it in mid March). Previously they said they could verify the Phantom's health/welfare based on sending a video. THat option is no longer available, apparently. Thanks DJI for changing things on me.
Am I able to purchase from DJI. I am perfectly willing to provide documentation or photos/videos of the health my Phantom 4. I store and transport in a foam lined Pelican case. I've been flying these things for 4 or five years.
If not DJI, what recommendations do others have?
thanks
