I see the Vision+ is shipping V3.0, does anyone have the V3.0 that did not come with the DJI camera yet?

Yes I have it,haven't flown it yet, nervous. I was wondering about the gimbal travel. It only moves about 45 degrees instead of 90, so it can't aim straight down. Does anyone know if this is normal?

That is not normal,  Do all the calibrations including the X1 calibration.  Move the camera wheel to all the extremes.

On my V2.0 copter load the P2 software and go to the Advanced tab > Gimbal, and change the horizontal and vertical tabs to "0" instead of the default value

true but you have to add that the Phantom2 H3-3D V2 has the same updates than the V3 vision+ model. Just different name for the same updates.

Just received my Phantom 2 v2.0! I've been flying R/C Helis for several years. picked up a nano quad a couple weeks ago as was hooked!

The Phantom 2 Vision+ v3.0 and the Phantom 2 v2.0 come with rechargeable LiPo battery for the remote control, upgraded gimbal wheel on remote, 9450 props, updated 2312 motors and compass.
If your remote takes AAA batteries you have the previous generation. If you remote has a built in battery and the silver wheel on the top left you have the updated version.

Does anyone know if the 5.8 gh V3 remote will operate the gimbal pitch on a Phantom 2 Vision using the new wheel on the remote? It says it is for the plus.
