Read a number of threads on here, but I guess it hasnt been clear to me since I cant figure it out. How do you increase the maximum altitude? When ever I try to change the max altitude in the app it goes back to 120, which is what I have it set to now. I have tried changing it in every mode with no luck. Read through the manual and cant find anything.

My last resort is to ask you all.

That setting is stored in the Phantom.
You have to have your Phantom connected to make that change.

Sorry..I have the Phantom connected to my phone via the cable with the app open. Trying to change the altitude and it won't let me change it to any besides zero. Can you walk me through the steps? Apologies for being a noob.

In a lot of countries regulations are set at a maximum height of 120m. Is that unchangeable? like no fly zones?

No cable to the P4.
Just set it up like you want to fly.
Your app must be connected to the Phantom

You connect the RC to the phone not the P4.

Problem solved. I was hitting the hide keyboard button after inputting rather than hitting the 'done' button. User error. Although, most iPhone apps you can do this and it does not clear what you have input.

The maximum is 500m and please power on the drone to change the altitude.
