I am running 1.6, do i need to upgrade to 1.7 before upgradimg to 1.8?

Do it just in case, but with most software it's not necessary. That goes with almost any type of software, normally the update contains most if not all of the previous.

I went from 1.4 to 1.7 then to 1.8 no issues at all... Bit different for you but should be no issues.

Thanks to all , I finally was able to contact DJI, and the said to go straight to 1.8. Did it and everything works
