Have not jumped to 1.8 yet.. Is anyone running the new DJI GO 2.7.2 app with 1.7 Firmware??  Any issues?

am having issues, weak rc signal cannot even fly the damn thing, i get 100m above me and signal starts flashing and says weak signal then at 150m loses signal and returns to home

Tim,

Are you attributing that to the FW upgrade or the new 2.7.2 DJI GO update (or both?)..

I am iOS 2.72 and all the latest FW 1.8 etc..

P3P flies great, this is my experience with 2 P3Ps. Both with iPadMini2's.

Thanks..  Did you happen to notice when you were notified of the upgrade (Firmware) that the Aircraft, RC AND Camera all needed an upgrade?  Still seeing some folks with varying degrees of issues with 1.8 and 2.7.2.  I have a demo the end of the month so may hold off until then, but good to know you had no issues.  Do you recall if you saw the Camera needing the upgrade also?  Would make sense given the release notes and a camera "fix"..

I have experienced the 'weak signal' with only a DJI-Go update on iPad mini.  I have not updated any firmware.

Between the Firmware issues and now this with 2.7.2, I'm staying on 1.7 and 2.7.1..  I had to do a restore on the iPad Mini to get 2.7.1 back (had auto update from App Store turned on - by accident).  Restore was from backup day before 2.7.2 came out..  :-(  Would like some of the new function in 2.7.2, but going to wait..  Maybe you have a back up to cloud from the 13th or so?

Not sure if I do.  I have had the problem only once, so maybe it was a fluke.  But I am going to put off any FW upgrades for now.

Yes the update did the camera specifically, very fast. That may be why I had to reset my recording options.

I am saying still having issues with flying distance, i cannot get past 400m and i start to lose my signal, it says weak signal. I have 2 controllers, one with the argtek upgrade and one without and both have the same results which tells me it's a software issue with the firmware update or the new DJI Go App???????
