Actually,  the Pro and Advanced use 2.4 ghz for both control and Lightbridge.  The only member of the family to use 5.8 ghz is the Standard,  and it uses that for the control signal.

Have I misunderstood the Spec'

Looks like that is for lightbridge 2, I assumed that the P3/4 controller used the same technology.

Phantom 3 and Phantom 4 use the same thing. ,  except the Standard uses 5.8 ghz control and video is on 2.4 ghz wifi,  no Lightbridge.
