I'm getting horrible distance in the area I fly with my Phantom 3 Pro, I only get 500m before signal drop out So I was considering trying the 32 channel method. Will this void DJI care/warranty? If so I won't do it and just continue to mess with manual channel mode.

I think it only affects the iPhone or device you're using, not the actual quad.
