When I try and connect my iPad to my Phantom 3 Advanced the DJI Go app stays on 'How to Connect' and doesn't give me the option click Camera ViewMy Phantom 3 and controller are both on the latest firmware.
Here are the things I have tried so far
  a different USB cable
  Uninstalling the DJI Go app, rebooting the iPad and re installing the app
  Deleting everything from the iPad and setting up as a new iPad, installing the DJI app
  Connecting in different sequences
  Two other iPads (neither of these connect to the Phantom)
  A different Phantom (borrowed a Phantom 3 Pro and the iPads wouldn't connect to that either)
  Contacting DJI support who said they can't help

It may be following a DJI firmware update towards the end of last year. Before then it did work.
All updates I've done were 'Success' on the check page.

It will connect to my iPhone and the camera view appears immediately when I plug in the controller.

Can anybody help and let me know why my Phantom 3 won't connect to iPads?

What generation of iPad are you trying?    Has these iPads ever connected to the dji app?

Apple offers free updates in return to redundant the device. Each day, I am getting update, update, update warning, I have been ignoring it, both on my iphone and the ipad air2. Because I know what comes next! :/

I had the same problem with my iPad 2 mini. It happened on mine after I did a reset using the reset option under settings on the iPad. The fix is you have to connect your iPad to your computer and go into iTunes on your computer and do a reset from there.

Did you happen to do a reset recently on your iPad?
