Last night I decided to update to the latest FW V1.8.8. After two fail attempt I replace the sd card and it went through and seems to be working but the text message on the sd card says fail. I tried to reinstall the FW but it just reboot to the same message. My question is...is it safe to fly?...it there any other way to confirm the update was successful without the feed back to the sd card?   

PS after a few attempt..the FW finally shows a green light...but the txt is say it fail.

i had that too with my p3p.    its a bug.   if rc and ac match up with new firmware and you are not getting any warnings to updgrade them then you are fine

Ok thanks for your response. I wish I didn't try to upgrade because it was working without any problem.

Should have any issues now if you updated rc as well.     I had same issue with my p3p as well.  Said failed but it really didn't

Hello, it would be better if you upload your upgrade log file in the hidden folder MISC. It shows the result more clearly.

Same here, RC update was fine but AC failed after about 15 minutes...

Get the same result with a different SD card...App says everything is up to date but really concerned about flying with apparently corrupt firmware...

DJI tech support absolutely no help (only suggested resetting my ipad...which wasn't connected so had nothing to do with the FW install or result!)

I've got a F550 and P2 so no stranger to DJI updates, and never had a problem in the past...their other suggestion was to send it off for "repair"...haven't even flown this bird since getting it (bad weather/work etc.) so pretty pissed off at their attitude tbh. :-/  

What are your three versions of firmware which are reported in the Go app under About?
