One mode I would like to see immplimented on the Phantom 4, hopefully with a firmware update, is a combination of auto track and course lock.  This would allow an object to be selected as the point of interest in auto track mode and then have the ability to do a 'fly by' in a straight line using course lock while the camera stays focused on the POI. This combined mode would act like a 'focus lock' mode so that no matter what direction the craft was flown, the camera would stay pointed at the selected POI.  Using auto track mode will only let the craft circle the selected POI at the moment.

I've looked into both Litchi and autoPilot and they both have this capability but for the Litchi app, one needs to have an Inspire in order to do this and use an iOS device.  The AutoPilot app also requires an iOS device to be used since it is only available for iOS.  Naturally, I have an Android device, the Nexus 7 II.

Interesting idea. I'll try to pass it to our developers for future consideration.
