I am leaving Beijing early... I have been in China for almost 4 months and have not had any issues flying my Phantom 4 following the U.S. FAA drone flight recommendations as a rule of thumb.  Until today I have have not had any problems with any government entities.  I have flown over fifty flights in Yangshuo and Guilin.  Today I was denied access to an area near Tianamen Square and felt like I was lucky just to keep my aircraft.   I am disappointed, that's it folks, I have decided to leave Beijing and head to the Great Wall early and leaving China after that.

It's well known that Tiananmen Square is a sensitive area and a no-fly zone.

Sometimes it's a good idea to  check local regulations before you launch.

Beijing is completely off limits per DJI... I should have clarified my comment I was walking from the Official DJI distributer to my hotel.  The Chinese would not allow me to walk with a P4 I bought in their country.

I wonder how much longer until China declares that  foreign satellites are not allowed in orbit or in the space over their coutries......
Outer space "over" China will be declared a Chinese "Defense" zone.  But in all fairness, Russia will probably do the same.   Don't laugh.....it's coming.

Well Obama is in London this week and there's a complete ban on use of drones....So it's here already

That zone is the first no fly zone ever created by DJI.  Even my old NAZAs and WooKong flight controllers were prevented from operating there.

I hope to buy a dji drone in Beijing. Can you tell me the address of the dealer?
