Hello again Folks,

Just wondering if DJI or someone on here can advise in regads to buying a bigger memory card for my P3 Standard?

I currently have an 8GB SanDisk Ultra Mirco SD (Class 10), but can the Phantom take a bigger memory card say? 32GB? If so what Class is required for this?

The Phantom 3 Standard  supports Micro SD cards with a capacity of up to 64 GB. Recommended is a Class 10 Micro SD card with a write speed of at least 40MB/s

SanDisk Extreme PRO 64GB UHS-I/U3 Micro SDXC is my favourite but others will do as long as you keep the minimum write speed in mind. Higher is better. With possible future upgrades in mind I would look at 60MB/s minimum.

I ordered the SanDisk Extreme PRO microSDXC UHS-I 64 gig card on the advice of someone here. I just received it and noticed it is not a class 10 card but has a 3 on the corner. Will this still work with my Phantom 3 Standard?

yes if it is Class 10

My recc'd card as its not easy to get the Sandisk where I live and I don't like waiting postman :

Samsung EVO Plus 64Gb - (recc'd by my pal who's biz is IT .. it has a high write speed even though its read speed is lower than the Sandisk others recc'd).

Which by the way also says "3" on it but having used it for 4K in my P3P - I know works fine. I do actually knock back though to 1080 to get the high frame rate to avoid those jittery bits when yawing ...

Well i am confused because i bought i dny class 10 card and it keeps telling me card error so not sure if it is card or not.

If you get Card error on the AC and cannot format it there .... then try this :

On a windows PC - (I don't use Mac - so no idea there ...) - place card in reader and then into PC .... I recc'd do a FULL format to FAT32, not the quick format  .... which is what the AC would do if it could.

Do not format to any other ...... you can use EXFAT ... but there's no real reason to even with large capacity cards.

Once formatted ...  place back in AC and see what happens.

It is most likely the fault of the card. If you want to be sure, then buy the Sandisk Extreme Pro, they work every time. Don't buy the Plus version, too slow.

After buyong the extreme plus and put in the ac thay card worked fine. Thanks for the replys

Wanna ask. Looking for sd card Is there a difference in speed class? I mean UHS-I and UHS-III?
