I have been noticing some problems with the camera in my Phantom 3 Professional. In the first flight after the firmware update ( v1.8.80) I noticed some tilt in the horizon level on pictures, but IMU calibration solved the problem. Yesterday I went flying and when I started my flight, after compass calibration, the camera was all shaking and the horizon was completely tilted. I then landed the bird and looked for a more flat surface to restart. After restart it seems to be working fine, I flew for about 10 minutes with no problem. So I decided to do a point of interesting, it worked fine until I put again in P mode. The problem started again in mid flight. The video that I'm posting is the POI, and you can see the problem I'm talking about in the end of it.
When I got home I turned the drone on again (without propellers) and it seems to be working fine, with no horizon tilt or shaking. I changed through modes to see if I got any unexpected behavior, but nothing outside of normal happened.
My question is: Is this a major problem ou just a bug that happened ? My Drone is still under warranty, should I return to my seller and try to have it replaced or wait a little bit and see with the problem remains? Maybe it is just a firmware bug.
Hi! Yes I'm sure. Actually the problem started before the POI. I restarted the Drone and it worked fine. After some minutes flying this behavior started again, as you can see in the POI video above.
Hello Carlo, it is recommended to contact our tech support via support@dji.com or http://www.dji.com/support and send the gimbal for diagnosis because it looks more like a hardware issue.
