I have a ph3 standard im trying to get the course lock to work but when I setup everything the screen does not come up on my ipad  can anyone tell me with might be wrong why the screen doesn't pop up on my ipad.. thanks

yes I have watched it I have done what it said but for some reason I don't get the screen that should pop up on my ipad

when you move the switch to F mode you should get an arrow/triangle thingy on the left side under the RTH icon.  If not you might need a FW update.

How long ya have the P3S?  what FW are you using?

ok should I turn on the multiple flight modes on before I take off or when im in flight?

FW is firmware..........you multiple flight mode need to be enabled in the App  If it is enabled and you still don't see the triangle/arrow icon on the left under RTH you may need a firmware update..........you can take off in any mode P A or F.  once the switch is in F you should see the arrow thing.

ok I got it working now, when I did a update on it a few weeks ago the screen changed on everything so now what I was looking for is at the bottom of the screen and not up top.. anyway its working now and thanks for all your help.. charlie

Hello cellis488, in the new version of DJI GO app, you can find the intelligent flight modes in this icon.



Please enable multiple flight modes before you switch P mode to F mode.

And using the sim is a life saver to get very familiar with the process of establishing as well as canceling the flight mode in an emergency - practice to the point where you are quite comfortable switching the modes and taking control back.
